Privacy
We keep this simple: we store what the site needs to work, a little anonymous usage data to improve it, and nothing we sell.
Last updated: October 2026
What we store
- Your account. A username, your password (stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody can read it) and an email address if you choose to give one.
- Your library. Your watchlist, watch history and where you stopped in each title, so they follow you between devices.
- Support messages. Chats with our assistant that you send to the team, and your support tickets, so we can answer you. Closed tickets are deleted automatically after about a day.
- Anonymous usage statistics. Which pages are opened, for how long, which titles are opened and which searches found nothing. These use a random ID kept in your browser. They do not include your IP address, your name or any account details, and they are deleted after 90 days.
What stays in your browser
Settings, your sign-in session and a random visitor ID are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't build advertising profiles of you.
- We don't store your IP address in our usage statistics.
Other companies
Video players and movie information are loaded from third-party providers. Like any website you visit, they can see your IP address and browser when your browser connects to them, and they have their own privacy practices. If XSPlay shows advertising in the future, advertising partners may use cookies, and we will update this page first.
Your choices
- You can use much of the site without an account.
- You can clear everything stored in your browser at any time.
- Questions about your data? Use Get help at the bottom of any page.
Children
XSPlay is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date above.
